From Porto (North) to Leiria
Porto and Sá Carneiro Airport is the second option when you arrive to Portugal by flying. From the airport you can either take a taxi or metro to get to the bus station of “Rede de Expressos” in Sá da Bandeira, where you should buy a ticket to Leiria (€ 12). Your trip will take you about 2 h 30 m (there may be a stop in Coimbra).
You can also combine your journey by using both the bus and the train.
The trip from Sá Carneiro to Campanhã (railway station) can be made with a car, metro or taxi. With the metro it takes you about 33 minutes to get to the station and the cost is low (about 1€). You can also take a taxi which takes you to the station in about quarter of an hour and costs 10-12 euros.
From Campanhã it takes you about an hour to get to Coimbra where you will make a swap from train to bus and it will take you about 50 minutes to get to Leiria.
