Hotels in Leiria

Hotel guide

Staying in a hotel is the best option if you haven’t sorted out an accommodation before your arrival. I did just this and stayed at Hotel Ibis for the first two nights. In this part of my blog I am only going to introduce you to a couple of options because I don’t have too much experience on this subject.

Hotel Ibis

I have no massive experience on hotels but a nice local older couple recommended Hotel Ibis for me. It was almost midnight when I arrived to Leiria first time and I took their advice. The first impression was that it was a basic and tidy small room with a big bed. Shower functioned perfectly and had plenty of hot water available. WI-FI worked well.

The price is close to the average I think. 40 euros per night and breakfast costs you 6 euros extra per day. The breakfast is quite basic: cereal, fruits, juice etc. available. I think that it is quite a bit cheaper to make your breakfast.

The customer service in general was good and they had no problem in terms of communicating in English. I would recommend hotel Ibis definitely: nothing negative to say about the place.

List of hotels

This is a more comprehensive list of hotels in the city of Leiria. You can read reviews see photos and information about pricing there. I’m making this section like this because I have actually visited only one of the hotels in the city and I also think that hotels are not a long term solution for any student.
